During this Jubilee Year of Hope, the Catholic Church will celebrate a Jubilee of Teenagers from April 25 to 27, in Rome. As part of the celebration, on Sunday, April 27, Blessed Carlo Acutis will be canonized, becoming the first Millennial Saint.
In the Diocese of Fall River, young people and parishes are invited to celebrate a local jubilee for teenagers and Carlo Acutis’ Canonization with this special evening to include gaming, food, fellowship, Adoration, and a talk on the new saint. It will also feature the presence of a first-class relic of St. Carlo Acutis with an opportunity for veneration.
St. Carlo Acutis Night will be held at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in New Bedford, which is one of the designated jubilee pilgrimage sites in the Diocese of Fall River.
Those interested in attending are asked to register here. The first 50 registered teen participants get a copy of the “Digital Disciple: Carlo Acutis and the Eucharist” comic book.
Under the direction of Youth Ministry of the Secretariat for the New Evangelization, this evening is geared toward helping young people grow in their faith through the intercession and model of the newest teenage saint.
